How to use Offline Mobile mode in FieldEdge mobile

There may be times you have limited connectivity in the field, but still need to access your Work Order information. Offline mode enabled a technician to have select access to their Work Orders even if they're in an area with limited cell coverage.

Detailed Steps

1. On the home screen, tap on the Work Order panel.

2. In the top right of the Work Order List, click the Cloud icon with a down arrow.

3. Once tapped, you'll receive a Download for Offline Use? message. Click Download.

  • Not Now, will cancel and go back to the Work Order List screen.
  • Download, will confirm Offline Mobile mode.

4. With Offline Mode enabled, all Work Order icons will be two-toned and have a lock symbol in the upper left corner.

5. When ready to upload Work Orders, return to the Work Order List and tap the Cloud icon with the up arrow.

6. Once tapped, you'll receive a Upload Offline Work? message. Click Upload.

  • Not Now, will cancel and go back to the Work Order List screen.
  • Upload, will confirm returning to online mode.
