Users may now accept chip enabled credit card payments within the FieldEdge mobile app via the ID Tech VP3300. This product comes in Audio Jack and Bluetooth variations, providing your technicians a convenient and secure way to collect payments in a timely manner.

Q: When I receive the EMV readers do I need to charge it?
A: Yes, please charge the readers before using. For best performance, charge the EMV readers daily.
Q: If I use ECS Payments, will I see the EMV prompt?
A: No only if a customer is using FieldEdge payments.
Q: What EMV readers are supported on which mobile devices and OS?

Q: For the EMV Bluetooth reader do I need to pair it with my mobile device.
A: No, these devices use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and do not require the traditional pairing.
Q: Is touchless, aka Near-field communication (NFC) readers supported?
A: Not at this time. We are working with Clearent to launch touchless readers sometime in 2019
Q: Are there any mobile devices that we have tested that DO NOT WORK?
A: Android Motorola Phone - Unable to make a payment using Clearent EMV Bluetooth device on model Moto G Play.

Technicians First Time Use:
When a mobile tech updates, the first time the tech uses any reader, they will be prompted to select a reader.
