You can now track the location of your field service technicians using their smartphones. This should provide you a way to monitor and optimize technicians in the field while improving consumer satisfaction.
How To:
The following procedure will help you enable location services for an employee.
1. In FieldEdge, go to Settings and click on Employees in the People section.
2. Click on an employee from the list.
3. From the Edit Employee screen, scroll down to User Information.
4. Place a check mark in the Enable Mobile Location Services box.
5. When finished, click Update to save your changes.
Repeat this process to update any additional technicians with this feature.
This feature was added as part of the March 15, 2019 release.
