FieldEdge Premier

We're thrilled to announce the ability to upgrade to FieldEdge Premier. A more robust version of the FieldEdge you know and love, designed to help you grow your business. 

Multi-Option Quote (Premier Feature)

You can now provide up to five pricing options on a single quote to make sure your customers can choose the best one for their needs.

The "Add Option" buttons on both Web and Mobile will allow office staff and technicians in the field to build up to five quote options, accept one, have it sent to your customer using your existing Quote Layout Templates. No additional setup is required.

In-App Reminders (Premier Feature)

Do you ever forget to do certain tasks related to a work order, such as following up on a quote or invoice, or even forget to reschedule an assignment? You can now add, view, and edit reminders on a Work Order. Simply add the note and choose the day you want the reminder to appear. You'll be alerted with a pop-up reminder accordingly. All open reminders can also be found under a newly added Reminder alert bell in the top menu bar along with the new Reminder list in the navigation sidebar, allowing you to review them as needed.

Advanced Dispatch Filtering (Premier Feature)

Apply multiple filters to y our dispatch board to view all of the work orders you're searching for on the map at one time. This is helpful for seeing all of your agreement work orders at a glance - including by zip code, allowing you to route your technicians more intelligently.

Multiple Agreements (Premier Feature)

Some of your customers may have multiple pieces of equipment they want maintenance plans for, but until now, there was no easy way for that to happen. With this new feature, you can generate multiple agreements for one customer record, and will no longer need to create new sub-customers for each piece of equipment. You can even offer different discounts for each unique plan.

Prospect Customers (Premier Feature)

We've made it easier for you to control which customer records are sent to your accounting system, allowing you to stay better organized when it comes to tracking who is an actual customer and who you've sent a quote to but never heard back from.

When saving new customer records on both web and mobile, you can now distinguish between a "Prospect" and a "Customer" record. By saving a record as a Customer, it will be synced to your accounting system as it has in the past. By saving a record as a Prospect, it will not sync over until a billable action has occurred.

In your Global Settings, the "New Customer Record" allows you to choose your default setting so you don't have to remember to update your selection every time you create a record. Keep in mind, once a record has been marked as a Customer, it cannot be changed back to a Prospect.

Enhanced Reporting (Coming Soon!)

You will soon be able to modify existing reports in FieldEdge to pull additional information. To get started, you'll simply select the "Customized Reports" button to access our new reporting platform. From there, use the new "Edit" function to add additional filters and columns to all of your existing FieldEdge reports. Take even more action with these reports by printing, emailing, or exporting them.

We will keep you updated when this functionality is available and provide you with the training you need to get started!

Unique Invoice Numbers for Agreements

You may recognize this update from our last release, and it's been made available for all FieldEdge users! We've added a new "Create Agr. Invoice" option when setting up an agreement that is configured to be billed from the office. When this option is selected, agreement invoices will be created and can be posted to your accounting system before the agreement is paid, and will generate unique invoices for that specific agreement. You can also specify the terms of the invoice and choose whether the invoice will post as completed or finalized.

Additionally, there will be a new "Invoice Creation" communication template which will be emailed to your customers on the specified day the agreement invoice is created and sent to your accounting system.

Accounting Status Filter on Payments Report

Accidentally overlooking payments that have not been posted to your accounting system can be frustrating, especially when it results in missed revenue. We've alleviated that frustration by giving you the ability to filter your Payments Report by the accounting status as a way to identify which payments have been posted to your accounting system, helping you report correct dollar amounts.

Unique Expense Numbers in the Field

To better accommodate your unique workflow, we've given mobile technicians the ability to add unique expense numbers when creating an expense in the field.

Mobile Updates

All mobile updates were expected to be released the week of April 20th. Watch out for our update in the app store to ensure you have the most recent enhancements and bug fixes.
